We are honored to invite NACo members to pre-register for our upcoming Community Education & Impact Campaign, launching in Fall 2026.

This initiative will make LĀHAINĀ RISING available to counties nationwide as a powerful educational and community-engagement tool—supporting dialogue on disaster recovery, public health, Indigenous rights, land stewardship, and long-term resilience.

What the Educational Licensing Includes:

• Community and classroom screening rights

• Curated discussion guides for civic and educational settings

• A Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) Toolkit, developed in collaboration with local and national partners

• Access to youth and adult panel programming

• Opportunities to engage with the filmmakers, impact team, and featured community voices

We are particularly interested in partnering with counties exploring innovative approaches to community resilience, cultural preservation, and equitable recovery efforts.
